CIF OPERATIONAL PROCEDURES

8.1Seller shall issue Contract Sales / Purchase Agreement with Seller's Full Banking coordinates.

8.2Buyer and Seller sign and seal contract including banking coordinates and exchange the signed copy via electronic mail. The electronic signed copy by both Parties is considered legally binding and enforceable. Buyer returns signed SPA in PDF format.

8.2.Within 3 banking days after returning the signed SPA, Seller shall issue IMFPA endorsed by Sellers bank for payment of refinery agents commission. {Please note the refinery as a matter of principle does not pay any commissions hence a confirmation of commission payment is needed by all principal parties

8.3Upon receipt of seller’s bank endorsed IMFPA for refinery agents/buyer commission protection, then the refinery would issue the ICPO to their bank for endorsement and the bank would then forward the Irrevocable Corporate Purchase Order directly to the seller’s nominated bank via the Account manager’s Email.


8.4. Upon receipt of the Irrevocable Corporate Purchase Order from the bank, the seller shall send acknowledgement to Buyer.

8.5BUYER/RFINERY AGENT shall issue Port of Discharge details to the seller for the issuance of Notice of readiness {NOR} & Estimated Time of Arrival {ETA}, General ATB format with details of all seamen’s papers for the inspectors who will board the Seller’s “Pregnant Vessel" for cargo inspection at Buyer's port of discharge - Greece {POD}.


8.6The Seller shall within Ten {10} International banking days

a.Nominate and load vessel to BUYER/(Refinery’s POD)

b.Place buyers name as “CONSIGNEE" of loaded cargo per Document List;

II. Bill of Lading (BUYER listed as Consignee) on Contract Vessels III. Certificate of Quantity
IV. Certificate of Quality
V. Certificate of Origin
VI. Master’s Receipt of Samples
VII. Master’s Receipt of Document
VIII. Ullage Report at Loading Port
IX. Authority to Sell Letter

8.7Seller through a nominated Vessel master issues Notice of Readiness {NOR) message to the buyer’s nominated Port of Discharge, Upon BUYER confirmation of the Notice of Readiness {NOR}. Within two banking days, the vessel master shall issue Estimated Time of Arrival {ETA} to the buyer’s Port of Discharge {POD}. Before arrival at Buyer's POD, Seller's loaded vessel shall give periodic ETA report to Buyer's

POD and buyer will be given the vessel captain's detail for easy communication. Seller through the vessel master issues Authority to Board (ATB) to buyer’s Super Cargo and Inspector(s) on arrival.

8.8Upon of the pregnant Mother at the POD, Seller through the vessel master issues Marine Authority to Board (MATB) to buyer’s Super Cargo and Inspector(s) on arrival. All of the Buyer’s inspectors will board “Pregnant Mother" for final Q & Q at the Buyer’s expense.

8.9Buyer’s nominated inspector who comes down with sample and conducts the Q & Q analysis. Within 24-48 hours, Inspection Company sends Final Q & Q Report to both the Buyer and the Seller respectively After Q & Q report is released (and results according to the contract and PO specifications, Buyer shall within 48 hours’ place MT103 Conditional covering the full cost of the cargo to the seller’s nominated bank account blocked Funds.

8.10Upon confirmation of MT103 Conditional, cargo is discharged into Buyer’s tank

8.11After the vessel has discharged its cargo at Buyer’s designated tanks in the port out- lined above, Buyer shall make FULL payment on Net Outturn Barrels for Discharged cargo within 2 banking days by SWIFT MT103 in favor of seller nominated bank

8.12Upon confirmation of payment, title transfers to buyer.
